A friend sent the below verses to me. He just lost his job a few weeks ago. I never know how long I am going to have mine. But we both trust in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Take a moment and ponder the verses and consider where you are at in life and where you are going. Consider what you have "Faith" in.
Psalm 37:5 Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him and He will do this
Phil 4:6,7 Do not be anxious about anything but in everything with prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God and the peace of God which transends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus
Prov 3:5,6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding In all your ways acknowledge him and He will make your paths straight
Psalm 121:7 The Lord will keep you from all harm He will watch over your life
James 1:2 Consider it pure joy my brothers whenever you face trials of many kinds
Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know
Phil 4:13 I can do everything through Him who gives me strength
L is for the never ending love he showers on us
I is for the "I" he strikes down, leaving only Him
F is for the futility of my own "good deeds"
E is for the everlasting grace he gives to us
A place to ponder the experience of life in general. No agenda. Just a place to write, vent, question, consider, and whatever.

Been Busy
Been busy working a bunch of overtime at work and have not had time to blog. Family is doing okay. I have been tired of course.
Lost another cat. He was ill for over a year and I had a lot of heavy lifting with him to keep him going. It is hard losing a pet that you have had for many years. He had a great quality of life but then took a serious downturn and I had to have him put down. We once had many pets and now have very few.
Little Rolling Thunder is on another sleepover. A former friend and her have reestablished a school only friendship. I don't think any of the parents are keen on this becoming anything more.
Hopefully will get back to writing and blogging soon.

Words of Wisdom
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
