"Slumdog Millionaire" may have taken 8 Oscars but all the spending the government is going to do that will "stimulate" the economy deserves an acting award as well. The sad thing is that many, if not most, Americans believe that the government can spend their way out of the current mess. Has that ever worked for anyone's personal finances???Oh well, by the time my great great great grandkids have to pony up, I will be dead. And, if the country goes fully socialist, the government will just hand out money and we will get the same ...... just like in the good ole Soviet Union. We all know how fair and compassionate that was.
