Well, we knew it was not worth much when Yassar Arafat got it years ago. But then they seemed to give it to worthy people until Al Gore came along.But giving it to Obama!!!! He has not done anything. The idiots that award it stated they knew there was no accomplishment. They gave it to him because of the "hope" he inspires. Lots of people can give you hope. Situations can give you hope. Faith will give you hope. Promise of reward will give you hope. Lots of things can give you hope.
I am so amazed that this once great award is now is a junk award. It means nothing anymore. You don't have to have any accomplishments to win it. You just have to inspire "hope". I can do that to, so can you. I guess a good speech and a flashy smile are move valuable then actually doing something to end conflict.
