Inaugural prayer slam prompts Obama smile - Rush Limbaugh: Lowery 'just insulted this country'

Is it still 1966????

Then he ended his prayer with, "Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get back, when brown can stick around – when yellow will be mellow – when the red man can get ahead, man – and when white will embrace what is right."

I really cannot remember the last time Asian Americans rioted in the streets. If anyone knows let me know. And I thought more Hispanics were coming to The United States than leaving. I don’t ride public transportation so I don’t know who sits in the back. As for Native Americans, leave the reservation and get a job like the rest of us. And apparently, I don’t think I know what is “right”.

Damn, I live such a sheltered life.

We Have A New President Today!!!

A new era in America has begun. All hail the new chief. We shall see how all of this goes. Never forget to pray for the nation, we all live in it you know.

I know what I think about all of this. I think I know what at least over half of America thinks about this. I just wonder what the rest think.

So You Don't Understand The Current Middle East Violence

Now I know there are a lot of people that blindly follow whatever the news on TV tells them. I know they do not really have a clue about the violence in the Middle East. Here is a simple picture that really sums it up concerning how Hamas and the rest of the Islamic Terrorists fight and how Israel fights.

I am asking anyone reading this to take off their blinders and educate themselves on what is really going on. The Media makes it sound like Israel is picking on poor Hamas but in reality Hamas continues to shoot rockets into Israel and uses human shields. On the left of this blog you will find a link to WorldNetDaily. I encourage you to check it out and become more of a free thinker. There are also plenty of other online outlets to get the truth.

Do not be fooled by what you see on TV.

Say It Ain't So Joe!!!

Can you believe the Uncle Jay video on YouTube got pulled!!!! That was so funny. I thought the American KGB was not going to take over until after 1/20/2009. Maybe they are starting early. Uncle Jay removed it himself. Someone got to him. He may have been threatened with an income tax investigation. Who knows.

Year End You Be The Judge

I had been looking for this for awhile and could not remember who made the quote. I paraphrase it often and never get it right. Now that I have it again, I include it here.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the Public Treasury. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the Public Treasury with a result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. The nations have progressed through the following sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith, to great courage, to liberty, to abundance, to selfishness, to complacency, to apathy, to dependency, back to bondage.” [Alexander Fraser Tytler, 1748-1813, From “The Decline and Fall of the Athenian Republic”]

The Holiday Season

Well, I have been out of pocket a little bit lately. Got sick with some sort of crud before Christmas. We had a death in the family (wife's side) and were unable to attend the funeral due to distance, finances, and the general horrendous weather in that part of the country. Other than that, my family had a nice Christmas at home.

Don't know what the New Year will bring. The job is definitely on the line. Will be lucky to last until March. But I am trusting in God for many miracles as we are on the eve of a new year. I am thankful for family and friends. I know a lot will change this year. Whatever is coming, I am sure it will not be boring. It is my goal to continue blogging and writing articles. Hopefully something amazing with burst forth from the ole noodle. But if not, all will still be well.

Here is a cartoon that I am sure was not meant to be funny. Sadly, this is how the year is ending for a lot of people, including the asses that sunk our economy.
